Construction Build Lead/CoFounder
I grew up helping my dad “DIY” portions of the homes we lived in. I spent my younger years on the Western Slope of Colorado, and at age 12, my family moved to Denver’s Park Hill neighborhood. After graduating from the University of Colorado, Boulder, I moved to Southern California where I began refurbishing large yachts. It was there that I realized my love for creating, building and bringing structures to life was more than just a hobby. In 1995, I headed back to Denver and met Kyndra. Soon after, I cofounded Catalina Trading Company, which imported reclaimed wood, furniture, and accessories from Southeast Asia. In 2004, I began managing the large Platinum Design Studio projects and joined forces with Kyndra permanently to grow our own business. Once we created Georgeson Style, I decided to attain my general contractor’s license so we could expand our services to full design + build. In addition to actually doing the renovation, I also love talking about it. Check out my video series, Chasing Renovations, that highlights great renos in Denver and beyond.
